[HEROIC SPONSORS NEEDED] Memorial Day “Murph” 2017May 3, 2017
Every Memorial Day, we have a tradition where a bunch of crazy fitness enthusiasts gather in Paducah and Metropolis to honor our fallen military heroes with our very own pain and sweat.
The workout was a favorite of fallen Navy SEAL and Medal of Honor recipient Michael Murphy, and is thus called “Murph”. He did it wearing his flack vest and referred to the workout as “Body Armor”. It was renamed “Murph” after his death.
“Murph” consists of the following:
- 1 Mile Run to start
- 100 Pull-ups
- 200 Push-ups
- 300 Squats
- 1 mile run to finish
HOW YOU CAN HELP: We would like you to consider this opportunity to align your group with this heroic cause by joining us as a sponsor. Sponsorship packages are simple:
GOLD SPONSOR: $250 (Includes Company Logo on event T-Shirt and recognition on all event website and social media channels).
SILVER SPONSOR: $100 (Includes Company Name on T-Shirt)
We are asking for confirmations by Monday, MAY 15th in order to secure all promotional materials, including t-shirts. If interested, simply shoot us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will take care of the rest!
WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO: All proceeds will benefit the Michael Murphy Memorial Scholarship Foundation. The LT Michael P. Murphy Scholarship Foundation is a 501c(3) Charity and there are no administrative costs and all Board Members are volunteers so all funds are used for scholarships only.
